Very neat Steve, looks like it's supposed to be there, unlike mine. And not blingy at all

I didn't do anything with my Stag myself as I am still in the U.K., but I got a text from the Tenerife man who has been touching up and part re-spraying the car, to say it was done and would I like him to take it home and park it in our complex so that it is ready for me to use when I get back without me having to make a fairly long walk to the bodyshop garage to get it.

Thought that was very nice of him, so said yes, especially as I have not paid him yet, but I know it won't be dear as his prices are very reasonable (having used him in the past). Also got a text from a separate garage who have been repairing the wife's Honda whilst we have been away to say that too is ready. I call that good service, and before driving the Stag again I am going to attach the new small Mobius dash cam I picked up in the U.K. and will film my first outing in the car to see how well it performs. I have tested it as a hand held device on our U.K. outings and it works very well.

Fly back home early Tuesday morning from Bournemouth Airport, not sure whether it will be me or Graham (Staggard) who will be the first to arrive back in Tenerife.

Mine had to repay its bad behaviour on Friday by acting as a pick-up on a run to B&Q:

You've got run out on your discs by the sound of it caused by dirt under the mounting faces or bad discs. I would us a dti to see which one is offending

                        Hi Richard.
A quick question. Did you fit the metal shims with your greenstuff pads. I have just fitted redstuff pads and only used the sticky rubber sheets supplied with them. They are now squeaking quite a bit and was wondering if the shims should be fitted.
                        Cheers Rob.

Hi, my similar HT was quoted as being from an xr3i but I have no confirmation as it was an eBay find. I fitted a 20psi cap as that is what I understood was usual practice but I just read in an article in 'Triumph World' where Tony Lee (One time Chief Development Engineer at Triumph) states: ".... 15psi was the highest we thought we could go without having to upgrade gaskets and hoses."
Notwithstanding this would probably have been the Mk1 he was talking about, could this be a reason why some of us have suffered otherwise inexplicable minor coolant losses after fitting a HT?

After bleeding the brakes 3 times I finaly had to bite the bullet and fitted a brand new brake master cylinder. Didn't even bother with the service kit as I read to many horror stories about the procedure! Good move as it was fairly straightforward and now feels a 100% safer!

Mk2 stag cap is 20 psi the cap on this tank is 18psi and my stag runs at 10psi as I have a gauge fitted to the cooling system and wanted to know just out of interest.
