Great price from RH, Jeff. You must never use it and keep it in a large strongroom. The last quote I got from them was 3 times that price...........

Talk to them Dave, there will be something wrong. Should go down if you're retried

Tried that several times over the years, Andrew. I live in a low-risk area, good record, car in a locked garage with house alarm, immobiliser fitted, etc., etc., They just weren't interested in competing with other insurers, despite having the same under writer. The last quotes were since retiring.

RH did reduce it last year Dave by quite a bit when I 'threatened' to go elsewhere.

The price you pay Jeff is related to it's agreed value, might be worth looking at as I assume yours is undervalued. mine at RH is £148 after getting a deal.

I've got a multi car policy with RH
The Stag element is £158 this year (£12K value and 3K miles pa) and that includes HMG winding IPT up to 12%

I'm insured with Classic Line Insurance, Hinckley. Renewal this year (March) was £92.00 to include myself and wife driving, 3000 miles a year, garaged from 10PM to 6AM if at home, agreed value of £15350. Policy also includes legal aid and full european breakdown cover. I am not retired, still at work. This was £6 cheaper than last year.

With fuel at £80+ a tank, £100 for insurance is a bargain.

Pretty impressive Dave. What's your excess with them?

Mine is about£10 more with Cherished for similar cover (agreed excess?). Quotes from RH, FJ etc were astronomic in comparison.
