    Just bought some wire wheels?

Well, as Oscar Wilde once said...I can resist everything bar Temptation..
Always thought the Stag suited Wires...whereas my TR7V8 looks a bugger and no mistake.
Saw them...bought them.. 5 unused Chrome + spinners and adaptors...I feel a Terry Thomas impression coming on..
I think I still have some G-Technic wheel armour left so I'll treat them before fitment..
What say I go the whole hog and buy some driving gloves and a Cravat and WHITE-WALL tyres..Oh yes just a thin white wall but it might all work!
Having said that..I shall not be fitting them until the warm weather (April) as I will be using the car throughout the Winter...It performed beautifully today on the ice-rink, wheels barely turning over with the Autobox.
Car still metronomically reliable after 6700miles this year

That is EXACTLY what I mean...
Am I limited on tyre selection or do I get white walls painted after purchase?

You don't paint the whitewalls, "Bravado" sell a set of four whitewall inserts (either slim or wide),
and you just let your tyres down, slip in the insert, then blow them up again. That's what I had on
mine before I recently changed the tyres, and will probably order a new set of whitewalls from them
as the old ones were over 17 years old and partly damaged.

I've been discussing wire wheels on another thread(Wheel cleaning spray) and was contemplating about the possibility of somehow coating the chrome wires with a clear lacquer. I'm not familiar with the G-Technic product you mentioned but wondered how durable it is. How likely is it to crack or lift off the chrome?
