I am looking st all colours now , I did say that I didn’t want white , but have changed my mind.
I had a 1977 R pemonto red one in 1984 and a white one with beige interior in 1996 WLH 990.

What’s wrong with those in the SOC magazine and on the SOCweb site at the moment? Is the club not a better way to buy through with other members perhaps knowing the cars concerned ?

Have you checked out the two for sale on M and M Autos of Lymington's website? Also have you spoken to EJ Wards as they are often selling Stags on behalf of customers.

There’s a lot of Stags on car and classic at various price levels but most have been on sale for months, indicating I think that sadly, the prices are too high. There are several in the 20’s, all look like lovely cars but the6 are just not selling.
You should be able to get a pretty good car at £15k but there’s some serious junk around at lower prices.
If you read the extended info on the bright yellow one on the actual auction site (an interesting concept too advertising an auction site on another auction site!) they freely admit the “car shows signs of filler around the rear quarters” so who knows what else is under that yellow peril..

It looks like prices are still firm and not softening so you might have to compromise on condition a little or up your budget to get what you want or just be very patient.

Hi guys I have seen the yellow one somewhere before, that’s were I saw it today in some auction , I’ve never heard of.
in regards to what colour , at the moment any
manual preferably , but auto is ok too.
i have been to see 3 now, but prices were too high and condition shocking on 2 of them.
well it’s not Stag weather at the moment , so maybe one will pop up

Have one to sell? Sell it yourself
1974 Triumph Stag - Only 19,150 Miles - On The Market

    This one..?

I'd be very hard pushed to believe it has only done just over 19,000 miles since 1974 - not the original colour yellow either
