    Just looks like a computer sketch to me.

    From the point of view of actually producing it, it looks like you would need 4 individual castings for the paired intake runners.

    The plenum is obviously designed to be welded up from sheet aluminium. The removable lid would be needed to bolt the inlet trumpets, plenum and lower manifolds together. Single bolt on throttle bodies are readily available.

    The inlet trumpets would need to be as close to the top of the plenum as possible without causing a restriction or low speed torque would be dreadful.

    No reason it wouldn't work provided all the cooling plumbing was sorted at the same time.

    The bolt together construction would give a bit of flexibility to accomodate the huge number of variations of head and block skimming.

      Over one year on, did any news appear about the Gradient solution?
      Does anyone know anything about this https://invisiblefuelinjection.co.uk/triumph-stag-efi. There is very little information on the website and just a few posts on their FB page with nothing since 2021.
      Have there been any new EFI developments for the Stag recently?

        Take up of interest in EFI for the Stag engine has been very slow. A few years ago I made my own EFI conversion based on using stripped out Strombergs as throttle bodies and there has been some take up of that. One Stag owner recently installed it on his car and seems to like how it is running.

        I am now pursuing the design of an EFI using pre-owned Motorcycle Throttle bodies, and as well as looking feasible, the low cost seems very attractive. To read more about Stag EFI apply here: (20+) Stag Engine Management | Facebook

          The Motorcycle ITB Project is moving along with no major hitches so far. I now have the bike TBs spaced out in pairs to align to the Stag head. One inlet manifold design has been sent off to make a prototype for checking that the TBs will fit into the vee.

            Check Canley classics web site in archives section. Dave has an original inlet manifold for the 2.5 v8 which may give you an idea it was for Lucas injection. Obviously you won’t need all the other mechanical stuff as it’s electronic now. Dave Jell

              Yes thanks, I have already seen that, but unless anyone has some thoughts I will continue with the ITBs as this is already tried and tested on many other engines as a very high performance and cost effective way to go.                 I had my draft design printed in draft quality material and it was a very useful exercise as I learnt a few things:

                Plus points:
                The O-rings fitted nicely in the slots and didnt pop out too easily. I think they will seal well.
                Dimensions of the head fixings and ports were all good, and in the right places.
                Throttle Body flanges are correct dimensions.

                Minus points but fixable:
                Dimensional error on the spacing of the TB ports.
                Walls of the Ports by O-rings were not all parallel making walls too weak.
                TB flanges need to be bridged to make the manifold more rigid.

                        Not exactly bolt on and go, but I have just put one of my old efi manifolds on ebay if anyone fancies a Winter project. Picture shows it installed in my TR, but using a different plenum and throttle body to the one included in the sale.

                            Quick question - if you fit ITB FI, do you then need a vacuum pump for the brake servo?
                            Header tanks - you can't beat a bit of bling.

                              Provided there is a good non return valve in the vacuum circuit then it will work ok on ITBs
