Has any one ever got a new vin plate engraved or stamped in original font, if so where can this be done, I spoke to a stall holder at ally pally who was selling the plates but was told that they are not allowed to engrave the plates for obvious reasons, I am also looking for blank body id plates as they have been removed from my car when it was restored back in 1990. I know the body number as I have heritage cert for car.
