Kinkell Classic Cars

Hi I'm a new boy to the forum, This is basically my first post, but I have been looking at the wealth information you have on a regular basis. I have noticed in the past that several members have made enquires on quality of work which Kinkell Classic cars perform. They have just finished a series of jobs on my Stag MK2. This work was wide rangeing rather than give a blanket appraisal I believe it would be more valuable to those members considering commissioning work with Kinkell to contact myself via PM (if you don't be carefull)and I would gladly share my knowledge and experience and the relevance of the work I have had done with them.

I haven't a clue about this company apart from clips on you tube. But what I would say is that there are so many levels of perfection. If you want perfect panels gaps everywhere then it takes time. Cheapest is not always the best and recommendation is key. If I were placing a car into restoration I would spilt the contact so you can get the car back for other quotes if the shell is worse than it looked Strip and report first. Anyone who puts a stag in for total restoration usually gets there bill double with unforeseen rot.I know of vw camper body shops who lure people in knowing once they start the job it always escalates and whilst the van is in bits the customer feels pressurised into carrying out more work.

Just came across this post. I know a guy who has had dealings with this company and he was not at all happy with them. I will not say any more for all to view, but I would say be very carefull
