Excellent !!!
I've been watching them all on YouTube (channel : Steve Wilson) as I don't have the National Geoographic, hopefully the Stag episode will be posted up in a day or so. A little formulaic perhaps but very enjoyable all the same - certainly IMO the best car restoration program. Fuzz does seem a sound bloke, really straightforward and Tim seems genuine enough.
There was a glimpse of a red Stag in the recent Rover P6 episode, as perhaps that restoration over ran considerably (can't believe they done that one in the standard 3 weeks) and they were late starting the Stag !

Thought the episode was good. It had a River engine in it so episode was good as they did not talk about old problems and why people swapped engines over etc, they just got on with it. They didnt have to do any body work on the car.
Good that it the SOC who was helping (as always)
Didnt like the spolier of the old wheels but as they said in the program, it was another persons car and wish so lets not interfere. They put new alloys on and kept the bonnet and it looked greatYellow Rules OK

I thought the sills looked scabby and one of the front wings looked like it had been flatted in one shot so maybe some paintwork was done. The spoiler and gold wheels were done a few years ago, tastes have changed since then although I did like the bonnet. Nice to see the guy being able to get back behind the wheel of his Stag. I've noticed that there are cars in the background that have been in previous episodes or are set to appear in future episodes so perhaps the 3 week deadlines are just for effect, enjoyable program though.

I have warmed up a bit to this series now. As for the Stag I agree with all of the above.
Probably what counts is that the owner liked how he had got it looking and if it had been the 1970's / 80s when done it made style sense! I was pleased though that they co-ordinated the interior, as it was a pretty dreadful mixture.
Thought they were quite rude about the looks of a Stag in general at the beginning though!

It's a very enjoyable programme and easy viewing. That interior looked surprisingly good
