Still finding jobs to do while waiting for a hose to arrive for the daddypump...
So instead, I replaced the bushes on the wiper motor and gave the insides a good clean and topped off with the nice new chrome motor cover. By cleaning and fiddling with the limiter I managed to get the wipers to park, slow and go marginally faster than slow. I didn't venture as far as exposing the rack area (that's underneath on a LHD). How fast is the fast speed supposed to go? Anybody timed it, in sweeps/minute?
But, question is: I noticed on the motor, one band of winding wasn't the copper colour, but black. Is that normal?
