Saturday proved to be the final day the roof worked. Somehow the rear section refused to fold up to the latch hook with out taking on a very twisted attitude
I will try to post some pics later but I then spent the rest of the weekend of removing the main rear hoop, both rear facing rails (the ones that the side latches hook up with and fix to the main rear rail), Both side main fixing brackets, the retaining latch...... (not really a lot to photograph, just bent frames and broken pins...)
The end result though is a hood that works better, is better aligned with the "B" posts and that the rear rail now sits down on the tonneau cover pretty much all the way round..
My back is knackered from curling into a stupidly tight ball
Now I have to check if it still folds OK....
