That looks useful Neil. We have an interactive calendar on this forum which I've added a few event in the past and tried to encourage people to add their events but it remains redundant most of the time.
Well I just had a look at the calender and it stopped in 2014 for some reason so forget thatLast edited by Stagdad; 9 January 2016, 17:59.

Every month I get an update of new events which didn't make the print deadline / amendments to contact numbers / cancellations - well worth the £5.00p
Takes a lot of organisation so why maybe the forum events is quiet & in the SOC Members section events are usually listed by local groups.
For me I like events which has very few of the same make but wide range of other cars / owners.
Know I am going on a bit about this publication but it is such a good cause - they strive to support & local to the North.
It even gives me a giggle at some of the listings - by chance see 13 14th June 2015 North Yorkshire Railway Event - Swinging 60's Event - this is not for Swingers over 60 but music , steam trains & Heart Beat car type event with great driving roads ( the best part of a day out ) over the North Yorkshire Moors to Goatland & the other stations the event is held !
But by chance the next month there is another event which has a Stag in the advert ( sad I know). Park your car - have a train ride - have some lunch - have a great day out as I did last year.
If you are up our way in March - come & see the Flying Scotsman ( all tickets sold for seats but a great sight to see plus support York after the floods where Yorkshire grit is still alive if you fancy a pint)
Poignant: A woman cleans the inside window of Plonkers Wine Bar in York as the floodwaters rise from the rivers Foss and Ouse
