Well.... both heads are now off, but need a light skim, so I'm stripping them off so they can go off to Gosnays Tuesday- have a head that has been done to collect so saves me a double journey. Going to have to denude the timing chains as the hold bracket got bent during head removal and so at the least the tensioners need resetting.
Then I suppose get a list of bits together that it needs, not the least the studs that are now 3 pieces, and I can go back to the mechanical resto on the P6 3500s that has been off the road since 93.
They say a woman's work is never done, what about mine?

Fitted new needles, adjusting screws and star washers in both carbs today. Now waiting for it to stop raining so that I can get it out on the road and warmed up in order to tune/balance the carbs. I'm not a fan of gassing myself by running it in the garage.........Dave
