Yes seems to be Ian, since I put some fluid in.

Bit of a screeching on acceleration from 50mph up to and more so at 60mph, below that it's quiet, not sure if it's the box or the dif?

    Jeff.
I only do what the voices in my wife’s head tell me to do!

Probably the box unfortunately mate, it was probably damaged with that incident in your Garage. If I were you I would shove a bottle of additive in it, I've heard good things about an this one. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Lucas-Tran...25.m3641.l6368, cheap enough to see if it improves things and It should buy you a bit of time given the amount you use the car.

Started masking up the underside of the rear ready to spray U-pol raptor. Then hopefully offer up the newly rebuilt sub frame/diff etc.

Hitched up the trailer and loaded up 300Kg of sand ballast and cement to take to my daughter's 10 miles away. Then spent the day replacing snapped wooden fence posts with concrete ones, and new fence panels. Now I'm knackered and itching to attack the Scotch bottle........

Today I took the stag for a run to "Palm Beach" ... !!!!

As I drove past a school 3 young lads (must have been about 13/14) we're coming out of the school and one said "wow" look at that car ... Then proceeded to ask me what is it ??
Made me chuckle to myself and reminded me of when I was a kid

Last day or so I have had wiper motor on bench. Was only going one speed and parking only occasionally and then not properly

Removed from car and dismantled and found short between fast/slow terminals and intermittent sticking of park switch as the poylester post was bent. Removed and cleaned park switch but could not straighten plastic park switch post which still stuck intermittently. Considered heating options to assit with straightening and eventually tried dribbling boiling water over post whilst straightening - worked a treat!

Having fully re-assemlbled and re- installed to car and connections - nothing?? After a lot of testing established that 12V was delivered to the wiper unit and more significantly at the fuse.

However after a bit of head scratching and evaluaton I concluded from the wiring diagram that as washer also did not work the general 12V supply was compromised.

What I found that was the fuse mounting was able to deliver 12V in an unloaded condition it would not deliver any significant current if a load was placed. (Surprising? Mislieadng etc.)

Cleaning fuse holder has solved most.

                        HTH somebody!

Got my coolant adaptors fitted into the centre core plug holes and also started porting the inlets to match the TR7 manifolds ( ports are slightly larger). Fuel lines almost finished.

Dave, Stags are not supposed to be beasts of burden! However I use mine for a trailer and tip runs as well.

                              Keep it up!

Nearly there. Are you using the wiring loom from your test jig?
