    Front brakes noise.

Follow on from my last post "a noise to identify"

After more research, mainly involving my son hanging out of the car whilst I was driving, I have, or at least think I have located the source of my mystery noise.

Seems it's coming from the front brakes.

Whilst driving at about 30mph after about 15 minutes or so of town driving this noise appears, we now think it's a rattling pad on the front nearside disc. Vanishes when the brake pedal is touched, then returns, it's only after everything seems to warm up, and there is no squeal when braking, my son reckoned he could feel it through the floor at his side. I've just renewed both front struts, inserts and springs and didn't notice anything out of place, then again didn't look too closely either. (The noise was there before I did the springs)

Maybe a shim missing or broken spring or....could it be something else?

Going to have a look tomorrow, but has anyone had anything similar?
