How often have you had to clear up a mess created by someone else whilst working on your Stag? WellI have just had that displeasure:X, not on our Stag but on our small Triumph. I noticed water pouring in through the tailgate along the top of the opening Upon closer investigation I discovered that some tit :Xhad fitted the rubber seal with the join at the top, behind one of the hinges plus the gapwas 10mm wide. :X:XSo what happens?! The rain runs off the roof into the channel, straight through the gap and into the boot, down the side of the spare wheel. After pulling up the bootboards I then discover that the same person has placed a large piece of foam under the spare wheel to reduce road noise. Well, that foam had acted as a giant sponge :shock:and kindly soaked up the rain water and in so doing , rotted the bootfloor. It looked a bit crusty and now has a hole in it where my finger went straight though it.:X

I have now fitted a new seal, with the gap positoned at the bottom but the damage has already been done. B**LOCKS:X
I now know whatI will be doing with my time once the Stag is complete.:?
