Why do you say that Mike? Granted it seems a lot of money but in the Classic scheme of things, it really isn't.
Decent TR5s get to that level and good TR6s are routinely in the high £teens/£20k area. The Stag is undervalued and will continue to rise. Even the upcoming global stock market revaluation won't stop it. If you're in the market get the best you can afford now and hold on (not just my view by the way, I am using info gleaned from more knowledgeable staggers).
Decent TR5s get to that level because they are seriously rare, the same with good early Tr6's with a CP engine and the TR's never really suffered from the bad press the Stag did and still (because there are still a lot of ill informed people around) does.
Once the Stag is as rare it will I am sure be more of an investment but at the moment, I am still not so sure....
Mike, does your car have tan interior? Carmine with Tan is best in my opinion, I have red with black. My interior was so full I fitted red carpet to brighten it up

It occured to me today that Brown was obviously always and forever the best colour but clearly we now have the award of highest value Stag of all time bestowed upon us. Start painting all those blue and white ones boys! Theres a new king in town!
