they’ve clearly had a lot of trouble with door fitment on this car - why would you advertise it looking like that?

Perhaps hinged at the top and not shut properly

With doors like that anyone would need a very close look with a good magnet - I suspect there may be more to it than meets the eye!

Perhaps they welded the new door skin over the top of the old one?

Maybe they took the ebay pics before the doors had been hung properly - looks a beauty in the mag photos though...
