Ill take a guess Len as nobody else has
    start with 1250kg
    minus
    300 for engine and box - 950
    50 for doors - 900
    25 for bonnet and boot - 875
125 for suspension, diff and exhaust - 750
    50 for wheels - 70
    75 for interior - 625
    25 for hood - 600
50 for bits and pieces (fuel tank, windscreen etc) - 550

probably not miles off as I know someone who scrapped a shell for 75 and steel scraps at about 15p/kilo
Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. One runs, one doesn't

Four of us lifted my shell on to the trailer as in the pic using the wooden battens in the background transversally across the body. You can see that none of us looks like "The Rock" and it was not at all strenuous so I guess each of us was lifting around 50kg max. In retrospect that seems like the bodyshell was quite light (4 x 50kg) as I would also have estimated a bit more myself also.
