    Simple Question

    Hello,
I have steel wheels and the Rostyle Wheel Trims. I have the correct tool to remove the wheel trims but do not how to go about it.
    1. Does the hook end go in through one of the slots in the trims (in the black area) to lever off the trim or
    2. Does the hook end or screw driver end of the tool go under the outside edge of the wheel trim to release the trim?

I am being cautious as I do not want to bend the trims or put dents into them.

Thank you for your help in advance.

Don't do anything from the outside edge, that will likely distort the trim. I always use the screwdriver end (or a large screwdriver) through one of the holes near a lug and use a twisting action between the inner ring of the trim and the wheel. Usually just pops off.
