Trace original spec from commission number?

How can I trace original build date and spec from Commission number?

    #2
You can get a Heritage certificate John, 43 for a standard one

Paul - 3 projects, 1 breaker - garage built and housing 2 white Stags. One runs, one doesn't

Thanks for that, I may well do, is Heritage the only register of those details?

The Heritage Certificate is a neat document! Nicely done.

          Dear John,

As you can see from Drew's picture, almost all the information should be available to you on your car - all except the build date, the key numbers and some of the factory fitments. What is it you are trying to find about the spec ? If you e-mail me the commission number and a note of what you are expecting to find out, I will try to help without you spending that 43. My e-mail address is in the front of the magazine each month.

Key numbers are on my certificate. I actually didn't blot them out because I've fitted new locks all round anyway!
