Looking for advice on the best hinge pin solution that will last the distance to use for an elongated FuelCapDoor hinge hole.
I went to put in a roll pin big enough to fill the elongated hole but figured a solid type pin may be more appropriate as a roll pin may wear out the door's alloy?
Been a while and I can't remember but looking at my old photos below looks like the factory used a roll pin for the hinge on the smaller lock part of the fuel cap door. But a solid pin on the main door?
Top hole more elongated that the bottom hole.
I tried to chop down and use that self tapper in the photo but couldn't clear the screws head through the car's body (rear wing).
Didn't fancy grinding down the wing!
