This is a nice car, well maintained and a great all round package, very sad sale for Martin but someone is going to be very happy when they buy this.

It's a shame that Martin could not be persuaded against selling his prized Stag, a great pity and he sold it too cheaply

Bought by a very nice couple from Somerset. I met them at the Thornfalcon show a few weeks back and they were very interested in the Stags of Andy Moss and I. I let the woman sit in and when she saw the range of adjustment in the seats and steering column, and the general refinement of the Stag they were hooked. I gave them Martin's details and now GYM should be residing in a small village not far from Taunton.

FWIW although Martin was sad to have to give up his pride and joy, he was happy to see it go to this couple. They should be joining the SOC soon, if they haven't already.

Thanks for that update Dave, nice to hear. Thats all we can wish for our Stags is that they go to a good home. Despite a great offer of help from friends within the club, Martin was always worried about looking after her, so maybe that is less thing for him to worry about.

So...GYM has gone home back to Somerset? Doesn't the 'Y' in the registration denote somerset?

                          Hi Al,

YM was a London plate. Y on its own was from Somerset. YA, YB, YC & YD were more specifically from Taunton, the registration office for Somerset.

I had an email from the new owners yesterday. They are delighted with the car, albeit 'a little guilty at taking it from Martin'. I think they will look after it properly.
