Finally after 8 years I managed to rebuild my stag seats so the "interim" Rover seats are up for sale
- Full leather, dark grey with red piping
- No tears nor rips, wear to the drivers bolster which could be coloured in.
- Both front seats are fitted with stag seat runners, bolt them straight into your staaaag, full adjustment, including lumbar
- rear seat cushion is fitted to the stag frame so it fits straight in, holes through the cushion for seat belts.
- rear seat squab is on the Rover backing plates and has been cut down so that it bolts to the hood rail.
Issues,
- the front seats are much wider than the stag seats so can interfere with the top seatbelt mount on the B-post - O mounted washers under the outer runner to "lean" the seat just enough. I don't notice this when driving.
- I am a smidge over 6'3" and my hair brushes the inside of the hood when it is up, never really up so it didnt bother me
- the seat runners could do with a lick of paint
- rear seat squab - where I cut out the foams from the outer corners could do with a little extra padding.
- the rear headrests kiss the hoodframe when it goes up/down. flexible enough to go past.
- the last couple of years I reverted back to the original stag rear seat because my lads could no longer fit into the rover rear seats.
