I just use metal clips with rubber trim... Solid , doesn't move at all, and a lot neater

Ok thanks for reply, so not ‘quick’ release then ? Once on takes a little time to take off, can’t really see how you have secured and the front must be screwed into B post .?

Hi Alan, yes 2 screws , 1 top, 1 bottom, I ensured the Corner point of the window sat fairly firm just inside the tonneau cover chrome strip, and the metal with rubber coating cable clamps just sit nice and tight at the bottom of the glass firming up the hold, About a minute each side to remove, granted 2 small holes in the strip, But a solid job, easily removed should I need to !

These are not 'off the shelf' items. Using hardtop side windows as wind deflectors when the soft top is down is just something some owners have done, usually after they had salvaged the windows from a rotten hardtop. There is no one design for the mountings, each person has devised their own solution. I'm afraid you just have to knock something up that does the job. - Alan

Does the addition of these side wind deflectors make much difference?
