I am looking for a refurbished or used Stag fuel tank. My old one had the typical rust symptoms. This is how it looks from the inside:

Is that not recoverable using one of the tank treatment kits? Not ideal but probably cheaper and re-using something is a good thing if that’s the only issue. Unless the seller had a bore scope you might end up getting one the same, or worse? Re-use and recover the tank is definitively my favoured solution. I am absolutely much more a recover than a replacement guy. Unfortunately the treatment kit only will not solve the problem - there is already too much rust, wholes, etc.. The tank needs to be welded or brazed. I have already started to go this way. If there is interest I can take some pctures and share how it went ...
