My Stags in for body work

My stag has gone in for its body make over heres some pictures
I've saved up for 2 years to get this work done
Very exciting
So we have both sills to be sorted out below the door hinges
Drivers door lower third to be reskined
Some dents on the bonnet to be delt with
Rear drivers side wheel arch,small repair
repair to drivers side front screen to body,as in the picture
and paint.......
I'll keep you posted if you are interested

Hi did your body work guy make the door skin,or did you buy a whole door skin and cut it in half

A lot of the old style car accessory shops used to stock sheets of 6 inch wide galvanised steel with a half inch 90 degree bend on one side which were perfect for making repair panels.
Sadly all the ones in Stafford have long since shut leaving only Halfrauds

Dave the bodywork fella says he will be removing the fuel tank tomorow and doing the repairs to the rear quarters and painting the door shuts next week
how exciting

This is the drivers side behind the rear wheel arch
Apparently it was really bad here,now more nice new metal been let in
Just the passenger side of the same area to do tomorrow (18/11/2019)
Then he's going to chuck some paint at it ........his words not mine lol
Discovered it has Gas A Just shocks on the back,any idea if these are good and how to adjust them if I ever needed too? iI cant find anything on the net filedata/fetch?id=786995&d=1574017177&type=thumb
