I saw this posting on a different forum. Anyone else tried this oil additive?

As long as the oils changed at 3000 miles I would say yes and personally I noticed my oil pressure stopped declining when I added some snake oil type stuff called Activ8



The decline over several years after an engine rebuild virtually stopped after adding this stuff.

I only put in one bottle in 1998 purchased at a Motor Show booth with a convincing demo. Two rigs with a lever pressed down against a rotating steel journal. One with and one without.

Looks amazing and the video is pleasantly free of all the bu*****t that you so often see in ads for products like this. It sounds believable.

I'll be interested to hear if anyone has first hand experience.

You can buy it on E-Bay at £22 inc postage for 125ml and at £35 inc postage for 250ml. Not cheap but very interesting product. Might give it a go - anyone know of where it can be got cheaper?

The E-Bay seller is actually direct from Active8 themselves so unlikely to get cheaper. 250ml at £35 is the one needed for the Stag. Not exactly cheap but if it works.....

What about SLICK 50 is that not supposed to do the same??. Although I seem to remember a thread on the forum advising against SLICK 50??
