Hi, The PDF doc on the soc site states that Gate 1 is Strictly for traders and visiting classics and Gate 2 for campers and ALL SOC and general parking.

Can someone clarify whether we use gate 1 or 2, for parking forall 3 days.

Sounds like Gate 2 to me - unless you are a Trader or coming on a 'visiting classic' ....... I'm sure Bob will confirm for you

Yep, Gate 2 Sukh. General parking is in the centre of the racecourse, entrance is just a little further along the A27 heading west, signposted Denmans Gardens. But as you are staying at the Innkeepers Lodge, go to their car park to start with (that's near gate 1, just to confuse you:P)

i have a dilemma
i have booked a double room at the innkeepers lodge for the friday and saturday nights
and my wife is not coming,thats not a problem
but a male friend is coming with me instaed
i tried to swap to a twin room ,but there are none available,if anyone wants to do a swop please let me know
as much as i like my friend i dont want to share a double bed with him
i am away in france till tuesday golfing at present , so will answer any pm on my return
if i cant find a swop ,i will have to switch to alternative accomadtion

Hi Alan

We reserved most of the twin & family rooms, there are some family back on sale at the Innkeepers, you can swop (twin bed and convertable settee) for your mate. or there are quite a few coming from Bedford who probably have twin rooms (because that all that was left)
