Classics on the common

I am planning to if my car has passed its MOT. (I am led to believe it has, got to pick it up in a mo).

Harpenden common. An annual midweek show (ticket only)that has become extremely popular.

A really good show but it is really just about the cars and bikes - don't expect any sideshows. Do expect queues if it is sunny.

Hi All,

I had a great day out today, I highly recommend it as an event to visit. I don't think I have seen such a diverse collection of cars. Some modern exotic stuff, but mainly classics, right back as far as the Ford Motel T.

Cars included, Auto Union, Sunbeam, Alvis, AC, Jenson, Austin Healey, TVR, Ferrarri, Ford, Bedford, ISO, Scimatar, Jaguar, Daimler, Rover, MG, Triumph (Of Course!), Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Volkswagen, BMW, Austin, Morris, Bentley (including a beautiful BRG vintage racer), Cheverolet, Vauxhall, etc.

I think I counted about 25 ferraris, of all ages. Mainly modern stuff, A 1948 Healey woody (Ugly but I had never seen one before!), Lamborghini Giado, and even a Tuk Tuk with a loud stereo and a bubble machine!
