stag engine weight

Could any one let me know the weight of the stag engine , as I am looking at buying an engine stand and they come in all different weights?

Depends if all the ancillaries are included, but should be no more than 250kg.

I think the engine figure is 447lbs, you should be absolutely fine with Chris's 250kg number

Hi Tony,

I purchased a Clarke CES 750A stand (340kg capacity) from Machine Mart for a recent engine re-build and can recommend, with four wheels it is very stable and also easy to rotate the engine.
