Fuel pump

Hello.

After a trip to the east coast this weekend. The stag broke down about a dozen times. Each time the fuel pump. I did a road side repair and cleaned the points. This helped for about 50 miles.
Can anyone recommend an electronic pump which is a straight swop? And recommend a supplier please

I have one of these fitted. Electronic version of the old SU. More or less a straight swap, uses banjos and original mountings. Can still (just) hear it ticking when you switch ignition on until itfills the carbs.

Peter at LD parts sells an electronic one that's a straight swop, costs about £40. People have said they are quite noisy but mines quieter than the original. Terry

Thanks everyone for answers, Collected one from E J Ward's today.[ Only a few miles a way]

Partner collected it for me, they were very helpful. Even supplied a bit of fuel pipe and clips just in case. Unfortunately the new fibre washers are the wrong size, so had to use the old.

Will have to take it for a run to see if it has cured the problem.
