    Valvoline VR1.

Hi all, as per Kryten's advice, I've done an oil and filter change using VR1, after a decent run to warm things up, idling pressure was about 35psi, previously it was about 25, encouraging to say the least. It'll be interesting to see how maximum pressure behaves on Friday on the run down to Fontwell, also how long the improvement lasts. Nice to have a simple container, no fancy non-sensical spouts and so on. Thanks Russ, so far so good ! Martin.

Good stuff Martin, I took the same advice last year. Idle pressure up about 10 psi and 5-10 psi at 2500 rpm +. done 1000 miles so far with no change (drop) to pressures. so that's what i'll use from now on.

look forward to meeting you at the weekend

    Ian.

      Martin,

Just seen your picture in this month's mag and you look just like I imagined you would.

Me age is showing again ! I forget to get enough for topping up. Does anyone (Russ?) know where I can get a litre anywhere near Fontwell please ? No time to get it locally. :? Martin.
