Now the Chairman :shock::shock::shock: I hope Rodger is ok? In my time doing a couple of bits and pieces with the club, I found him to be a really good bloke and enjoyed chatting with him.

Has the vice-Chairman left as well? I ask, as he is not the temporary person which is surely part of the role?

I think Graham was referring to Rodger Robertson, now former chairman and a very nice chap.

Lesley and Roger Phillips (also lovely!) are still there, as far as I know, although I know Roger was very unwell earlier this year. Lesley is still president of the club.

It's hard to expect people to give their time to the committee in difficult economic times, as time spent volunteering is time that you're not being paid for, so many thanks to all those who do it!

As a relatively new member I have met Lesley and her husband a couple of times and have found them to be warm and friendly-exactly the sort we need as a chairwomen.I met them last when the came all the way down to deepest debnshire at the Powderham meet.My wife and I were treated like old friend and made to feel really valued.

Thanks Wendy for the clarification, I had not read Rogers report in the mag.

He is a member of the Worcester SOC and a very good man and friend I willhave to go to an N&N to have a chat to see how he is.
