Someone's going to be letdown

Tim S and i viewed this "Rustag" last weekend and agreed there was literaly nothing on it worth having and at the time it was at £310 which we thought was too much .Well it finished at £772 :shock::shock::shock::shock::shock:and the winning bidder will have to trailer it away.

Heads weren't reconditioned,hard top was shot ,every panel was rusted to pieces,chrome was shot,interior soaked and mouldy.I do hope the buyer had a look at it but i can't believe if they had they would bid that much.

On this basismy Stag must be worth about £20k

Be an interesting (long term) project. Gonna need all the help they can get. But in fairness, it only needs new wings (front & back), new floor panels, new door skins (at least), new bonnet, new bootlid, refurbished hardtop (withnew welded panels), full interior, new wheels, new tyres, refurbished dash,most engine ancillaries and bits to make it go, cleaned up heads & gear, new grille, full respray .....................
