hi guys i have just noticed there is a lead off the front brake multi link unit, located under the windsceen motor , what should it be doing and would it affected by being off, i have been driving this for two years like this, and only just noticed. Paul

That is the cable for the PWDA warning switch. It should flag up a warning light on the dash if there is a difference in brake pressure between the front and rear circuits. This needs to be set when the brakes are bled. Mine is exactly the same and I haven't bothered to set mine.
