Oil pressure after oil change

Evening

Did my normal oil change a few days ago together with acoolant change. Nothing different nothing special..Halfords 20/50 Classic and a new cartridge filter. Since then oil pressure seem rather high nearly 40psi at tickover. Thatscold but even when it warms up there's not much change.

Any ideas folks?

Just going for a run and get it heated up...I'll report back

There's nothing wrong mate - relax ! I've got the same with VR1 till it's properly hot. Martin.

Thanks for the reassurance Martin..that actually means a lot to me. Even after several years of Stag ownership, my paranoid,amateur mechanics mind still looks for problems that aren't there.

Makes sense really new thicker cold oil, increasing the pressure...funny thing is I've never evernoticed itbefore.
