    Oil Transfer Housing

    Bit of advice required :?

Took the Oil Transfer housing off as part of my stop the leak campaign! Mine has the tee piece installed for the oil guage. I purchased two "O" rings for the unit but can only see the one large "O" ring, where is the other small one installed. Is this inside the fitting where the tee piece screws in? I bought both in case!

Only other parts I have from dismantling the transfer housing (apart from the tee part and the pressure take offs which I haven't taken off the housing as yet)are the stud to hold it in and the washer.

Also whilst I have this all stripped down is it a worthwhile excercise renewing the "O" ring on the oil pump? I have the exhaust off so can get at this easy. Or I am best to leave well alone? I have the seal kit for it in readiness!

    Grateful as always for advice

Two O rings, one large one around the perimeter, one small one in the middle, or oil would leak out around the bolt!

Changing the oil pump O ring is real easy worth doing.

Thanks I might have missed that is was getting late when I finished it could have dropped on the floor as I was reaching for a cloth to catch the oil dribbles

I'll have a look when I get home later

      Cheers
