Only if you buy the detail of a tax free car and put them on yours

The last Stag eligible for tax exemption (under current regs) is LD21086.

(LD21087 was the first car built in '73)

mine is ld20746 it was despatched on 18th built on 11th December not as previously stated, so 340 cars out there possibly?

supplied to lex mead in maidenhead. but spent 18 years in monaco.

Ours is LD20581 built 29.11.72. It was despatched to Dovey Motors Ltd Newport Gwent on 17.1.73. Registered 7.2.73.

I had a bit of a battle with DVLA to get them to accept it was tax exempt but I got there eventually.

Does anyone on here know where that dealership was situated? I would like to be able to find it, if it still exists. Google searches have not turned up anything.

Mine is LD20943, build date20/12/72, despatched to Puttocks in Guildford on 21/12/72 and registered on 16/1/73 (tax exempt). Do you think the workers on the assembly line would have entered into the Christmas spirit with Santa hats and beards?

Puttocks of Guildford is still going, but has been a Mercedes dealer forover 30 years
