SOCrates on the Stag Do!

After putting great emphasis on the fact that we were to expect a very special guest all week, my friend Olly (the stag) was rather suspicious and not sure what to expect. The doorbell rung.... and there was SOCrates! He'd managed to find a space in his packed schedule to visit us. I thought it only right that I should pop up a few pictures for you folks to see

There have been dozens of attempts to kidnap that thing and apply a petrol enema, I don't know how they all failed ? Stupidest thing any car club ever came up with ! ! ! M.

It was originally meant to be a bit of a joke to embarass him by making him take it everywhere. Unfortunately the plan backfired a little because Olly thought he was rather cute (he's an animal lover you see and he comes from the south and is therefore a softie :dude.

Hehe no, that's not me. I have tried a 50p test but I think that anyone who is going to go to the effort of videoing it and putting it on youtube has more time on their hands than they know what to do with ... (IMHO)

Think it was Russ (Kryten) who posted the vid but could be wrong. Think he was trying to demonstrate that a correctly set up Stag (which he had done himself) could tick over very smoothly.

Interesting. I'm not sure a rover v8 would be able to do the same... mind you I only have the cobra as a source of reference. Its certainly lumpier at idle than the stag

Martin - you're becoming a real old fart!

I think you have missed the point of the event - celebrate the Stag 40th, bring the areas together and get good publicity for the club (and Stag).

we have had national at Billing in the past and also at Woburn

plenty of time to start planning and the advantage of being central to all points
