    White Wall Tyre Trims

Afterseeing how goodWhite Wall Tyre Trims looked on Ian's (milothedog) car, I thought I'd invest in some.

Whilst fitting I wasa bitunsureabout the white/ yellow combination, but the overall effect is quite striking and takes the bulky look away from the 80 profile tyres.

These areBravado Automotive trims which fit between the rim and the tyre sidewall, gripping in placeas the tyre is inflated. Quality is very good.

They may not be to everyone's tastes but I like the look of then on the Stag, it's different. SWMBO approves as well. :dude:

The tyre does not need to come off, and the bead seal does not need to be broken, just deflate the tyre and clean the rim / tyre and insert, full instruction come with trim and Bravado will offer advice if you have problems.

Very nice Dave, I see what you mean about working with the colour. When I find a decent Hard top I may well paint it silver to contrast against the dark blue.

                        Dave

I like them and think they go well with the yellow, I bought some to put on mine a few years ago when I had the standard alloys on on they would not stay in place, they just slipped out of the rim, so never fitted them. Probably a different make to yours.

                          Hi Dave

I had the same problem with a couple of the trims slipping out when the tyre was inflated; after speaking to the supplier the surface of the tyre under the rim needed to be totally clean so the rubber grips. I used brake & clutch cleaner and so far they've stayed in place.
