    new softop

hi i had my softop fitted today by se trimmers it was a long wait but it was worth it ,i went for the mohair and a recon powder coated frame.as it was made and fitted to a jig it took an hour to fit and that was including him fitting a complete second hand release cable that i brought with me unanounsed. it was the cars first long run since doing both headgaskets and timing chains i didnt like the auto on the motorway as it revs to high although i do prefer it in town so i will be looking to go for the 4 speed auto in the future.the car behaved it self with good tempreture readings, when i bought the car the door mirrors really let the car down and were loose as they didnt have the correct fitting kits on so i removed them and thought i would get the important things done first so it was a bit hair raising today but i did order some as soon as i got back

        From Denis:

I've been asked to remind you that the Woking Summer Festival will take place on Monday 30th August between 12:00 and 17:00 at Winston Churchill School, Woking.  This event is presented by the Rotory Club of Woking District and organised (at least in part) by our own Jim Daikin.  This is a charity event in aid of Woking Hospice and other local charities.  Please support if you can.

Hi deanoed. I had my soft top fitted by SE trimming. Good job, fitted it to my existing (refurbed) frame in about 4 hours. It took me almost as long to drive down to Faversham from Worcestershire!!
