Hello all - I have just taken the rocker covers off to redo the gaskets and came across this - is it normal?

at a guess i take it you are refering to the missing nuts? if so they are not missing the sprockets are retained by two nuts from the cams when head work is ongoing.so if thats so no probs. but it might be something completely different and ive missed it.

Sorry about that I couldn't fit the text in to describe what I thought was missing - yes I was referring to the nuts.....because one has a nut behind the chain cover and the other one doesn't..also I would have thought that there should be a nut in front of the covers - not so??
