Yesterday SWMBO and I loaded our paragliding kit into the Stag and went for a trip to the North Wales coast
Fortunately the Stag went better than SWMBO's flight and came back with all its parts in the same condition and the oil and water all stayed on the inside
At least bruises are self repairing unlike stag engines

The round trip was 228 miles and it did just over 25mpg which is a lot better than the 18 or 19mpg it did with the auto box, but I would have expected over 30mpg out of the TR so I have done another 25 miles tonight tweaking the fuel injection, and I think I am getting close to the right mixture right through the rev range now
At least when I want to overtake other cars I can now, before it seemed to make more noise but not go any faster when I hit the throttle
Next job will have to be new seat foams as about a mugful of powdered foam fell out of my seat during the journey, and it is not making for a comfortable seat
