This is not on the Stag but still relevant I would think. My fathers A35 was resprayed about 2 years ago. It was sprayed in 2 pack or one of these modern water based paints, not cellulose.
All of a sudden it has started developing the White rain spots that i am sure some of you are familiar with. Shower of rain and then the sun shines and bleaches the paint where the bubbles have been. You T cut them away and next shower of rain and bit of sun and they are back again.
I have had this in the past but I thought it was a problem with cellulose and that you do not get it with the more durable modern paint types? I am afraid that I think the only cure is another respray:shock:.
Any help/advice on why this suddenly starts after a couple of years ( it has been well polished but has to live outside) and paint types etc would be much appreciated as resprays are not cheap
Obviously themore you polish it the worse it gets!
cheers Giles
