New fuel pump

Hye

Have just fitted a new electronic fuel pump.

It seems a lot louder than the my old points one.

Has any body else experienced this problem? or is it a faulty pump.

Which one have you fitted Tim

I had a Facet (think thats how you spell it) in the Westfield that made a fair noise when you first turned the ignition on then I couldn't hear it (or anything else tbh) due to the rather noisy side exhaust:shock:

Similar to the one in my stag then I thought you had gone to a small pump like the facet

Mine makes an audible ticking at idle,not sure of the actual make but I know it is newish

Can actually hear mine pulsing when driving slowly around the roads
