The cars ready, lovingly prepared, brakes checked, no obvious defaults, lights checked. MOT time, yippee. The time? 2PM. The day? Wednesday 8th. The trailers ready to receive the beast.
Into the garage, she starts, god she sounds great even for a Buick POS. but wait!!!! no pressure in the clutch pedal. No gear. I jump out and find a pool of oil under the car running from the clutch hose. The metal braiding has shorted out on the starter motor, causing a hole in the hose. What a time to do it "AGGGGHHHHHH"
Ok 2 hours to MOT time. Dash to Hose company replacement hose and bleeding later still no pressure. Upshot is either the seals in the Master or slave cylinder have gone, so new seals on order. Still No MOT. Damn these triumph stags, Not!!. I still love the ruddy thing, just another spat in the relationship of the stag verses bloody idiot.
