    Steering

Hi, My steering has started to feel a bit stiff/ lethargic especially turning right. The fluid level is ok and has new oil ( same oil red as g/box ). It seems to be ok when driving fast, belt tension is ok as well, any ideas what it could be?, appreciate any info,...

    Cheers, Sukh.

Try lubricating the UJ's in the lower coloumn, the bit in the engine bay, I had the same symptoms on my Stag and, a few years ago on my LandRover, this cured it both times, if not then it's only a quick squirt of penetrating oil so it wont break the bank, and wont do any harm

Yep - heading fast towards 60 but, you know what?, I couldn't care less. I'm certainly getting to be a bit of an old git, but I think I've avoided the moodiness.

Don't worry about the old 5 0 - you won't feel any different and a Stag is a great antidote to the mid life crisis

Always look on the bright side of life I say - cue Monty Python

          Cheers

Whenever I get mid life crisis thrown at me re the stag. I just remind swimbo it's cheaper than a mistress. (chance would be a fine thing)

Hi, Thanks for the advise and tips RE: the above, I bought some 3 in 1 penetrating oil from Halfrauds as advised and lubricated lower links and whilst at it oiled what ever needed oiling.Steering now back to normal working spec.

                          Thanks again,.

                          Sukh.
