window horizontal rubber seal fitment

Hi All

Can one of you please confirm whether I have fitted the window seal correctly into the chrome holder? I keep thinking it looks wrong:?

In the photo the upper egde of the chrome strip is at the top. The rubber seal is facing downwards when its off the car but will bend upwards when pressed against the window.

Is that correct?

I think you have fitted it upside down. I've just looked at mine and it points upwards if that make sense. I'll try to post a picture in a minute.

When fitted let me know how you have dealt with the gap between the door and the quarter light. I would like to see that seal run the full length of the crome strip but apparently the concensious is to run it just the width of the glass.
