Dave last time I used the hard top and pulled the rear demist knob it kept blowing the fuse. I can only assume that they are somewhere down in the B post causing a short which blows the fuse. Have'nt taken the B post top covers off yet to see whats going on or if they are in there somewhere

Hi Mike,
I've had to investigate the wiringgoing up the B post - in my case it was problems with the interior light in the T bar.
It turned out thatone of the wires had chafed through where it went from the top of the B post into the T bar. What a b*****d of a job - although largely because I wanted to reuse the original short loom in the T bar. Gave up in the end and threaded 3 new individual wires through.
Anyway, obviously your problem won't be as far along as mine was but it would still be helpful for you to check in the B post. The HRS hasplug in connectors behind the B post covers and those covers arenot too hard to take off to check (remove seat belt, remove chrome B post protector and remove screw at base of B post in to sill, then carefully pull the cover) Once that's off, you can disconnect the connector to the HRS contacts and see if you still have the problem then.
Hopefully that should sort it - if not, then it'ssomewhere closer to the switch - maybe in the sills and as you've velcro'd your carpet in place that should be easier to check
Good luck - please feel free to PM me if you need any more advice.
Cheers
Julian
