good afternoon everybody

having purchased a 76 tahiti blue stag some 4 months ago

i am now ready to start having the vehicle bought right up to A1 condition

i intend to have the following works carried out

1 a colour change to dark blue including replacement of the door habdles/boot lock etc

2 a replacement hood and a refurb of the framework (dark blue )

3 replace/rechrome of the bumpers (stainless steel ) ?

4 replacement wheels (i am considering spoked )

anyway to cut a long story short can any body help me in finding a reliable garage who could carry out all the works for me

i purchased the vehicle from manversand have said that they can carry out the works ! feedback on this company and other suggestions would be welcome

i am based in surrey

Hi Graham, welcome to the club. I can't help with a garage in Surrey, but VMAD (Chris) maybe able to help with the hood. And I would go for stainless bumpers.

Hi Graham,

I wouldn't bother wih rechroming - there are some excellent stainless steel bumpers available for the Stag from Harringtons (available direct or via E.J.Wards). I have them myself and the quality is astounding. Also, they will never rust again!

Hi Graham,

Welcome to the Forum.

Why don't you try popping along to your next local meet. You will be able to pick the brains of the locals then. (To add to the great advice you will get on here naturally!).

A bit further away for you, but Faversham Classics in Kent are good.
